SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL CHAMPS 2011

How sweet it is! Springfield's own Queen City Sound Chorus went to Seattle to compete with the top five small choruses in the world and came home with FIRST PLACE and GOLD MEDALS!

We are so excited to have this amazing medal to add to the ten other medals we have earned over the past six years. That's right! We just celebrated our sixth birthday. Wow! What a great feeling. It is not too surprising, given the caliber and drive of our chorus members.

Queen City Sound Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, meets weekly in Springfield to sing four-part a cappella music popularly known as barbershop harmony.

We present several musical events each year to civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches and fundraisers.

We are available for Christmas parties and events in the Springfield and Branson areas! Please contact us soon so we can fit your event into our schedule.

We also perform singing telegrams on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Please contact us to sing at your next special event!

As part of our commitment to perform at the highest level possible, we compete each year in a regional contest. Since forming in December of 2005, Queen City Sound has been honored with eleven medals in regional and international competitions.
